Since 1961, time is standing still in Magemenos Avlos, and every corner is full of charm and tradition, making the place uniquely atmospheric and an ideal setting for gastronomy and music to shine. Many distinguished people of Greek culture and politics favored Magemeno’s Avlos’ dishes, including the former King of Greece, Constantine, Manos Hadjidakis, Nikos Gatsos, Dimitris Horn and Konstantinos Karamanlis.

The menu of Magemenos Avlos is full of traditional recipes, prepared with care and fine, fresh ingredients. Among the familiar and beloved tastes of Greek and Mediterranean diet, Avlos’ chefs create dishes inspired by the most popular flavors of international cuisine.

During the winter, inside Magemenos Avlos, a warm and charming atmosphere is created every evening, while everyone is enjoying wonderful dishes and the music of small, but excellent bands with natural sound.

And when the weather warms up, the restaurant’s beautiful garden in Proskopon Square (Manos Hadjidakis) welcomes its patrons. In this cool and green shelter right in Athens’ city center, you can enjoy the delicious dishes of Avlos’ kitchen, while listening to soft, live music.
